Steve... all you have to do is go read on NTAP's website about their Total Storage Solution. You also might search their site on Storage Consolidation, Data Consolidation, and Total Cost of Ownership or TCO Studies. We were discussing this heavily about a year ago. On June 18th, NTAP completed this solution with their DAFS product. OnTap is a large part of it. Brocade is part of it...announced almost a year ago. Nothing I mentioned was future plans unless specifically stated. Most of what I see now there is in PDF format. That means I have to download it and open it all in Acrobat. To be honest.... I'm too lazy to go digging through all that stuff to find what you need. NTAP used to have a pointer to "Total End to End Storage Solution" right up front. All I can think of is that NTAP is having to focus on specific needs of customers right now for sales...They aren't interested in big new solutions that cover their entire storage environment right now? I used to keep bookmarks to this information. Unfortunately, I had a computer that crashed three times. I finally dumped it and have another new one. But don't have those bookmarks anymore.
