Why don't you try and read some of the coverage of the American response (or lack thereof) in the Canadian media? Try reading the Globe & Mail, Toronto Star and National Post, they are all online...Bush finally made some decent comments nearly 3 days after the incident only after the White House saw how the gross insensitivity played with their Canadian allies...even the Canadian government which usually cozies up to the U.S. government stated that the lack of American response was "regrettable"...keep thinking the way you do, alienate your neighbours and then ask for our support in your actions..

It never ceases to amaze how some of you are so myopic...don't you see that his apology came late and only as a political face saving gesture after realizing how it played?

Try watching something other than CNN for coverage of American actions...until you realize how the world (even your allies) sees American actions, the U.S. is periously close to isolating itself as it has in previous history..
