RE: Valuations, I believe you are correct about the valuations, however reasonable multiples for technology companies will return and based on real earnings I believe that prices will return to the mid thirties to forty dollars a share for the company as they continue to win market share and cut costs through internally efficient processes and programs. I do not believe the "dot in the dot com" ad will ever be used again as the dot com start-up era is dead and over for good. Remember that companies were valued as more than real companies and used their stock as currency. They had no earnings, some had no revenues but simply an "idea" that got shopped around and idiots said "wow". The stupid dot coms bought the best equipment from companies like Sun Microsystems. Should they have not sold them the equipment? Sure they should have. We are the stupid ones for not realizing the folly of the dot com era. I am more secure in the pricing and valuations of Sun Microsystems going forward as they start to sell to real companies that make real money. Sure it will never ever be the same as it was.
