Id, let me say this in response to your question.

I have always advocated that all on this thread trust no one and do their own Due Diligence. It's critical.

You and other's have and that's great. Some people like Bruce, Hotlinktuna, Roger Bodine and others on this thread have bought some stock after doing their DD and others are waiting in judgement. That's fine, no problem. If it makes sense, great, if not, that's fine, too.

I am not skirting any questions. I referred in Auggie's post to the lateness of some of their filings. I have suggested that you call the CEO if any were concerned. I thought it was clear the "e" meant the audited filing was late, as mentioned in the PR.

This is from the PR:
"A temporary symbol change from HQNT to HQNTE will occur on April 22, 2002, and will remain for a few days until the audit is complete."

****

Regarding my ethics, I will state that I have now had just
3 or 4 suggestions of concern stated, while I have received many more of support and requests to be on the mailing list. There has been disclaimer after disclaimer: "Call the CEO", "Check the filings", "Read the PR's", "Do your own DD", "All investments are risky", "For small company stocks, I think it's crucial to trust management", etc.

One other thing, everyone should know that that there are dozens, if not hundreds, of people on SI, Yahoo, and elsewhere that are representing companies and NOT
disclosing that they are getting compensated. Some are, thank goodness, most others are not.

I guarantee you that if I had not disclosed that I was helping bring honest exposure to H-Quotient in return for restricted, one year compensation (with the very first post I made after being hired), you would have never, ever, have
known about it. Even so, I will always state it publicly because I believe it to be ethically correct.

I also have not received any stock yet and when I do, I cannot trade if for a year. I cannot say that any more clearly.

For me to lie or deceive knowingly is against my ethics and morals. Even if you don't believe that, I cannot sell until at least April of 2003. To imply that this is a "pump and dump", as one poster suggested, is therefore not only untrue but ridiculous. I have bet one individual $100,000 (or more, his option) that I did not purchase any stock below 57 cents and that was only 1700 shares at that price. In fact, I have bought 6500 shares in the open market from 57 to 74 cents and was buying it before any discussion of my hire took place. So far, he hasn't taken me up on my bet.

All I ask is you think about that and realize that for me to get paid in stock that I cannot sell for a year must mean that I believe in this company, which I do. Could I be wrong and they are all a bunch of crooks, the CEO, (a West Point graduate), the new VP of Operations (a former Senior VP at Freddie Mac) and a respected scientist who reportedly has purchased 1 Million shares on the open market?

Sure, anything is possible.

Could the Company have lied about having made $1M in earnings from operations in their last Fiscal Year and in all their filings for the last few years?

Sure, anything is possible.

Lastly, I will try to be more clear in the future in answers to questions, but I rather you rely more on doing your own DD and/or calling the Company or CEO. The SEC filings, which all should read when thinking about investing in any company, clearly state "notification of late filings". I've seen that on hundreds of occassions. In HQNT's case, it has been pretty common, too, and yet they have also gotten their filing in, as far as I can see, within the extra 30 day grace period every time, as shown by the "e".

Finally if one admits honestly that they are being compensated, they actually are much more BOUND to be FAIR and TRUTHFUL, in my opinion anyway, because they MUST according to the SEC. I hope you think about that, too.

You may disagree about my decision to help this company out and that's fine, too, but I pledge to be honest in representing them or any company, should I choose to do so in the future. Please respect my right to do so.
