Vegas, that's right, if a person can't trust their own DD or make their own decisions, they should not be investing.

Many people have learned not to trust anyone and that's good. Virtually every company, nearly 100%, have people promoting their stock. They all have things to say at cocktail parties and boiler rooms that are often just speculation. When it's not in print, it's pretty tough to prove someone lied unless one has permission to record the conversation.

Analysts are now in danger of getting sued misleading investors. That's a good thing.

I see myself as more of a fact gatherer. I try to get people interested in further investigating the facts and potential. No more, no less. Not any different from any other I/R person working for any of thousands of companies out there. I post and remind and re-arrange facts so that people can start to DD a little easier.

People now know that the former 7th largest corporation in the U.S. (i.e Enron) couldn't be trusted, nor perhaps can the accounting of CSCO, INTC, IBM, etc. It's tough out there and investing is hard. Doing DD is more important than ever because a large cap stock can drop as hard as a small cap, and not have as much upside potential. Microcaps are inherently more risky with a higher potential reward, so DD is even more important.
