don't know about the EUR, but I think things have shifted since Saudia Arabia aided us in Gulf Storm ... Very hard for me to guess how this plays out. All I know is the doofuses that are talking about ANWR in terms of supply that might come on the world market (i.e. and its effect on price) are missing the point -- there are lots potential conflicts and results that could significantly alter world markets. It is in our interest to have other options.

I read a recent article on ANWR -- it is really a very small region up there in the midst of a much larger territory which is already under development. Just an issue for a lot of PR and grandstanding for the democrats, IMO.

I think the US should have strategic plans for the rapid restarting of drilling in many areas that are now unprofitable on the current economics -- while pursuing agressively other energy supplies as well -- with diversity the key driving principle. We never have had a good energy policy because of the politics.
