Tue Dec 4, 2001 11:38 AM - Ness Energy's CEO Comments on Recent Developments in Israel

WILLOW PARK, Texas, Dec 4, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Ness Energy International, Inc. (NESS) CEO Hayseed Stephens commented today on the recent developments in the Middle East and their impact on the company. Mr. Stephens is currently in Israel where he is continuing negotiations to arrange a drilling rig for its Massada lease. The Massada, which is a lease totaling 155 square miles, contains a well that did produce 13,000 barrels of 37 degree, light, sweet crude oil, during its test. Ness anticipates that it will drill locations whose wells are to offset this test. The wells are anticipated to be 17,000-18,000 feet deep.

"In 1982 I was asked to go to Israel to pray with Prime Minister Begin about a war in Lebanon against the PLO," said Mr. Stephens. "Israel was very vulnerable after giving its only 'great oilfield' to Egypt for PEACE. Today, I am back in Israel praying with Prime Minister Sharon and other Israeli leaders about war. Israel is even more vulnerable because it has no oil now! Although nearly 20 years have lapsed, nothing has changed regarding the oil shortage in Israel. God has shown Ness scripturally, geophysically, geologically, seismically and through abundant oil seeps where the oil is in abundance."

The company is pursuing fundraising activities to accelerate drilling at the Massada lease. "We are grateful for the financial support that we have received from Christian investors, many with limited means, who have contributed any way that they could over the last four years. However, most of the Christian ministries have yet to participate, despite preaching that 'faith through giving to God brings wealth'. The Bible says three times in a few verses, 'those who bless Israel, God will bless them; those who don't bless Israel, God won't bless them. (3) '. Ness means 'miracle' in Hebrew. Ness needs a miracle for God's people, God's land and God's Christians who believe wholly in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Ness, its staff and stockholders, the Living Way Church, its members and attendees are all praying that God will cause the Christian community to support our activities immediately, as Israel is at a crossroads. Both Israel and America are desperate for oil as war-like economies consume huge amounts of energy. It is imperative that we begin drilling for oil now."
