<exploration fat tail plays>

I've avoided those problems, although eventually one has to expect to have losers. I think the key is to not get too caught up in the excitement and pay up, and you need to be a little lucky too. Also with these keep the stakes smaller and more spread out. I accumulated my GNG stake, and actually that's a pretty big one, when the hype died off and it traded quietly down to 37. When it traded back up to 65, I didn't sell it though, as one should be either in or they're out, and I'm playing for more than a flip. Same with SUL as I just raided a little at 23-24 last week for the first time. I actually feel this could be a big play and would have bought about twice as much in the low 20's, but now I'll just restrain myself. I bought a smaller stake in NPG two tax loss seasons (you could hear a pin drop on that one) ago at 13, and still own it although at 45 it's now a big stake. I will actually stay away from a grassroot if I see too much "active" discussion on threads, as I'm not all that comfortable with big crowds. I have IMR at about this price, bought a little more at 44 last week. I have a tiny position now in PLY, but wouldn't be inclined to go overboard there. Right now is the time to be looking at new reorgs and retrofitting of junior names cause there are some promising plays. If you will notice sometimes just a decent private placement can really invigorate a dormant play if there a good project behind it. If we had this thread really functioning right we would be talking about promising reorg private placements too. The one I got with WTC at 65 cents (plus warrants)has been incredible (thank you, Jim Steele for that lead). You don't need too many of those. Looks like these guys are tracking PPs:
