Yeah right, how many parents teach their kids sex education? Kids don't want to talk to parents about that subject. Some parents try but they're usually too late and it's uncomfortable. Kids learn through class discussions, reading informative texts and by experience. Good sex education minimizes the chances of unwanted pregnancies. Otherwise kids use the trial and error method of learning.

PS _ I remember my Dad sat me down once to tell me about the birds and the bees. I already knew everything he told me. I was 14. And since he had no experience with current sexual issues he was behind the times and too conservative to inform me about anything I really needed to know, like about birth control or venereal diseases, etc.

The worst sex educators are the priests and preachers. Sex and religion don't mix.
