To a right-winger, most of the world is liberal. And that's a bad thing. To progressives like me, right-wingers are often wrong, dishonest, greedy, unrealistic and close-minded. However we do share some beliefs. Liberals can go too far. I disagreed with Nader as often as I did Bush during the campaign. Extremists on each end of the spectrum are part of the problem not the solution. That is one reason Clinton was so successful, he stood up to the left as well as the right and governed in the middle. Bush is less successful in that regard, mainly because of the great debt he owes to Big Oil.
