Time is running out for a Spring rally. Remember, the first week in April is supposed to be a "strong" week, as the week of options expiration is supposed to be. Neither showed any conviction or strength. The first solid week of earnings reports was hardly convincing and the market continued to meander. By the end of the month, we should resume a slow, death spiral throughout most of the summer. My point: I would be very careful about chasing the indices and going long on one of the anomalous "strong" days. Best bet is to sit on your hands and wait for the market to come to you.
