The only way to describe this valley is to take the prettiest
valley in Montana or Idaho and double it. It just took your breath
away. It was so different that it may as well have been the moon. One
night while I slept a grizzly walked by my tent. There was a set of
fresh tracks there that weren't there the night before. He paid me no mind.

Last year, National Geographic did a cover spread on the ANWR...........it was extraordinary. One photo had a monstrous moon rising over the land, and it looked like you were viewing a star trek episode.

If ever there was a place on this earth that God called his own, it would be the ANWR!!
