...Food for thought...the obvious implications of the BK are clear. There's a lot of talk on other boards about the chain of events that lead up to the BK announcement ... including the large RIF (reduction in force) just before the announcement. Amazing how fat some of these companies let themselves get last 18 months!...stupid!

Press releases regarding the purchase of various business units (one by the outfit that ATHY spun off from in the first place I think?) and what might be left. Some speculation about the potential loyalty of the bigger government contracts.

The language surrounding the BK announcement, "continuation of business" etc., common to BK or a suggestion that there is something resembling a plan to pull this thing out?

As well as the knowledge that Stroud (ceo) has a rep as serial entrepreneur who has successfully participated in the launch and "growth to survivability" or acquisition of three prior start ups. Two in wireless telecom (domestic and foreign)and one in internet hosting/networking. Maybe he's just met his match this time? He was brought in as a consultant to explore M & A opportunities before he was made CEO. (saw at corp web site a month or so ago)

Anyhow...I'm sure a few folks were merely playing flog the dead cat for a few bucks last week. I just watched that action...may get in on it this week.

Just came back to SI to get some opinions beyond the stuff over at Yahoo.

Tear em up this week folks!
