Aluminum heat sink are not casted. They are extruded and then cross machined. The cost for this is about $4, which is substantial. Casting does not work for high aspect ratios (length/width of each fin) geometries that is required in a heat sink.

Are you dense? I refuted your claim that metals are either extruded or machined. Casting is common. Whether some vendor's current heat sink is cast, machine, extruded, etc. is not germane to refuting your point.

You need to be less sloppy in your statements. And you need to learn some English. "Metal is casted"?
