btw...

I am not related in any way to Galerías Zurbarán. I just like their exhibitions. I was there 2 years ago and enjoyed it very much.

The Galery (one of two) is in/near one of the nicer Barrios of Buenos Aires: Recoleta, where if it were not for the Spanish spoken, one would think is in Paris...

For those interested... There is a site here that has a colleccion of old pictures of Buenos Aires...

buenosairesantiguo.com

a couple of them interesting as it shows the improvements of an area called Puerto Madero where there used to be old abandoned warehouses now filled with restaurants, stores and apartments.

Several of these restaurants serve the BEST beef in the world and one of the best Cabernet Sauvignons (and other Bordeaux style wines (The best Argentinean wines never leave that country).

It is unfortunate that due to the disgrace of a few stupid politicians have seriously weakened the Arentinean economy and now, Argentina has ended up (as many other Latin American countries), in serious trouble that will take years to correct.

I suppose... there is some advantage for those earning US Dollars as now, a trip to Argentina would only cost 1/3 of what it took me 2 years ago...
