For example, the Palestinians are living in a colonial, police state condition.

I know... Those Jordanian Hashemite have a history of repressing the Palestinian majority.. Just like Assad and his alawites oppressed the Sunni majority in Syria..

But the point is that I believe national and ethnic entities must be able to co-exist under a governmental system that does not overly favor one group over another, preserving the rights of the minorities, as well as preventing a "tyranny" by those same minorities (having "special" rights not enjoyed by others). The US, with all of its domestic racial turmoil, is still a microcosm of the way the world should eventually be, with people of various cultures adhering to a set of principles that benefit all of its citizens.

I'm just quite "getting" what this idea of a Palestinian "homeland" is all about... After all, Jordan is 70% Palestinian already, and every year the power of the Hashemite rulers is being reduced and replaced by the parliament, to the point where someday it will be proclaimed as the "homeland".

Whereas, on the west bank, they're heavily dependent upon the very state that they despise, Israel, for everything from power, water, and infrastructure, to markets for goods and labor.

Personally, it makes sense to give the people of the West Bank autonomy in politics and economic policy, but maintaining Israeli security over the region. I certainly don't want to see them become militarized and pawns for the agendas of other anti-Israeli elements, as I believe is the case now...

The Palestinians on the West Bank are like 1/2 of a pair of Siamese Twins, except the Israelis can live without its symbiotic sibling, and the Palestinians cannot.. Yet, the Palestinians continue to bite the very economic hand that feeds it.

And this is why I believe we should truly think twice before the world submits to international blackmail by the Palestinians and Islamic extremists. If we do, we're sending the message to every other ethnic group out there, that suicide bombing against civilians work and are the best way in which to achieve non-viable nation states.
