And do not forget the $$$$ side of things. The clubs pay these guys a ton of it... and at times there will be those who even when they have the chance to play in an international event, they will simply not risk getting hurt to the point of not being able to play in an upcoming tournament/game with their club... Real Madrid ~vs~ Manchester United... yes, quite a show it would/will be.
