Jay, can you tell me a little more about selling cov calls and puts on gold stocks.
For example: I have gg and hgcmy, and a few sold puts for gg at 15 for July. Would I write cov calls out of the money for the stocks I own ? Would the calls be for the upcoming months or 3 months out or what's best, iyo? Also is writing puts a dollar or so out of the money about 3 months out the optimum, or longer?I don't buy cov calls or puts back...if the stock goes (or if I get it) I start all over. Is this the best way to approach this?
