Thus far, we're not seeing ANY willingness amongst Palestinians to offer the same rights to Jews.
I assume you are talking about the settlements?
You aren't likely to see much positive from the Palestinians directed towards the Jews over the short term. You know why, as well as I do.
This dialogue which Nadine linked is interesting for several reasons. The Jewish writer links a map on fmep.org, so I assume the site is considered reliable - and the settlements are far more pervasive than I thought -- and I thought they were extremely pervasive.
I assume that Palestinians are not supposed to cross the roads which are patrolled by IDF. The map also shows confiscations.

I fail to see the strategic value in the case of all-out war - or any other circumstance. Invaders would simply go around them, unless they wanted to capture them, in which case cutting the roads would be the first thing, and simply surrounding them and waiting for them to run out of food would be the easiest thing. They're houses, not forts.
The other part of the discussion was the fact that the Israelis have alienated the Christians in Israel. Pournelle says this:
>>The one thing that Melkite Catholic, Orthodox, Methodist, Armenian, and Anglican bishops agree on is that Israel has treated them all rather badly. The former Director General of the Paulist Fathers in the US was director of the Tantour Ecumenical Institute on a hill overlooking Manger Square, and he had almost nothing good to say about the Israeli treatment of the Palestinians: this was several years ago at the height of the "peace process" when there were almost no bombings, and it was possible for Christian, Jew, and Moslems to work together in religious studies institutes like Tantour; and for that matter to work together in free clinics and such like. That doesn't happen any longer.<<
Rosenberg seems to have a tin ear about Christians, but doesn't dispute the argument. Might explain why the events in the Church of the Nativity seem so shocking to Christians. Apparently, the Israelis treat Christian Arabs like they do other Arabs.
