Sounds the same as being moved from one reservation to another or to see your reservation keep shrinking in size.

Yeah.. I can see that analogy having some merit. It's not an easy situation to resolve.

However, 90%+ of the Palestinian population lives in urban environment, if I have my facts correct. And those Urban areas are under PA control and responsibility (or were.. :0)

So what's being argued here is the disposition of unoccupied territorial resources still under Israeli control, as well as the disposition of already established Jewish settlements and whether Israel has the right to deny this unoccupied territory to the PA, while granting it for settlement expansion and roadbuilding (strictly for usage by settlers).

But until Israel's strategic security requirements are satisfied, they aren't about to share or give up that land. There's just no ways about it there. And let's face some facts here as well. Were Israel to grant the PA leadership exclusive right to distribute that land, it represents a VERY LUCRATIVE opportunity for them to resell it to Palestinians, with the corrupt PA government leadership netting the profit and shifting it into their personal bank accounts. After all, it would be a transfer of ownership from the Israeli government to the Palestinian government.. not one of transferring land to private ownership.

So let's look at the financial interests of Arafat's hooligans, and discern whether the average Palestinian would actually benefit, rather than it being a wealth transfer to a very corrupt regime.
