Nolan,

Try windows95.com under programming, you'll find GNU equivalents for just about anything, including Perl, C/C++.

As for mounting an NFS filesystem, get a copy of PC-NFS from the backroom.

PS: Sun never has added anything new in the way of cool applications like Workman, Ftptool or traceroute or Perl, or even a descent POP3 daemon. Look in the /etc/services file, it still references POP2. MSFT on the other hand keeps adding applets, i.e. Wordpad, HyperTerminal, etc. True MSFT never had a development environment, but atleast they didn't unbundle it and resell it. How long will it be before Tcl/Tk becomes something I'll have to pay for?
