Tim, your defense of guns is really beneath who you are.
You must have a high opinion of me if you think defending our constitutional rights, freedom in general, and the ability to defend ourselves from armed criminals is somhow beneath who I am.

That's just a stupid argument. You just found an example of a deadly accident with guns so now all arguments about the right to have them is stupid and low... I could come up with a bunch of arguments about horrible things that happened in or because of cars, swimming pools, stairways, showers, even buckets of water. Does that mean that we shouldn't be allowed to have any of these things and any argument that we should is stupid and low.
And if you disagree, that's fine but I don't want to argue the point anymore.
I probably won't initate the argument., but if you make a statement supporting the banning of guns on a public forum that I participate in you will get a response. You can of course always choose to ignore it

I am not making that (the 1st) assumption, you are.
I didn't say you where. The whole statement stands together thats why I put it back together when I quoted your quote of it. If abortion is just fine, then restricting it does restrict a women's rights unfairly. If abortion is killing an innocent young human, then it should be outlawed. Either way it makes no sense to say men shouldn't be involved.
They have.. (fought against restrictions on abortion)....abortions are only allowed up until the end of the first trimester.
So men can only get involved if they support your viewpoint?
