A good question Dave, but one that has been overworked since the early 1970's. European money has been big in South Africa for years, especially British, German and Dutch. It's only American naivete that said we should embargo the country to benefit the blacks. But we all know embargoes hurt the middle to lower classes rather than help them. Also, it's never been a clearly black-white question there but rather a tribal one. So I don't feel the political situation is a significant risk. To turn this around, I'd be running from Hong Kong right now while I had the chance, and I wouldn't get close to communist China. Here's a political situation ready to explode.

Regards, Dale
