terry, you can't argue with any of these permanent bears,

even though we are now at the 7 month anniversary of the last new low in all the major indexes, this is 1929 revisited, soup-lines, bank runs, etc. - i don't think so, not yet anyway =g=

just find a ledge and pick a spot to take a dive -lmao- (people have pm'd me and say they feel like doing this after reading SI lately -g-)

it was just like arguing with the perma-bulls at the top - YOU KNOW, and i think babbling (when the markets down) brook, puts me and you in the perma-bull category (lmao), and like you i was an ardent bear as the bubble was forming, and was early then and have been a little to bullish during what i believe is a basing period.

i agree the telecom bottom is forming, they hate it like hell, the XTC chart is getting parabolic to the downside, picking a bottom, can be as tough as picking the nas top though, and there could be a significant BK in this area that could washout the sector.

John Buckingham, at the Prudent Speculator - value investors, who love to buy crashed out charts and hold em for a few years is talking about the telecom sector lately.
