A somewhat one-sided view.

Israeli retaliations, which are always consciously designed to avoid civilian casualties.

I guess this doesn't include the retaliatory raid on Qibya, which I already cited. The reprisal was for the killing of three Israelis in a grenade attack. The village was apparently selected solely because of proximity; it was never claimed that the grenade throwers came from there. 66 civilians were killed.

Weren't there also a few incidents involving cluster bombs back in the early '80s? Not the most discriminating of weapons.

I'm not going to start digging now; I've spent too much time on this already. I seriously doubt, though that the claim that Israeli retaliation aims "exclusively and conscientiously at military targets" would stand up to even the most casual examination.

Please don't take any of this as evidence that I approve of Palestinian terrorism. I don't. I think the behaviour of the Palestinians has been consistently despicable. I just don't think the Israelis have been as much better as they would like us to believe.
