There is no fundamental reason why hybrid cars should be any less safe than regular autos. The hybrid technology only concerns how the power of a gas engine and electric motor/battery combination are manipulated to make the overall system more efficient. The technology can apply to any size car or truck without changing it's crash worthiness. Like I said, more Bush propaganda. He doesn't want to see better fuel efficiency because that would cut into the profits of the guys that bought him the office. Diesel locomotive are hybrids. Are they crash worthy enough for you?
