In all this, I completely missed your point, that is, if you have a point.
Anyway, I myself couldn't care less for either Le Pen or Chirac. I have to say though, that Chirac is a lot of fun to watch. I get French news on my cable. I don't speak a word of French. Sometimes, I just stop on the channel when they have him on, just to watch his face expressions, gesticulation.
And I would really like to be in the chair of a shrink, and psychoanalyze a Frenchman. There seems to be some irresistible attraction to Le Pen's point of view, underneath, in the subconscious, while on the outside, they make all these noises about how distasteful Le Pen is.
