Is it true a mere 0.4-mile-per-gallon improvement in federally mandated fuel economy standards would save as much oil every year as the Arctic refuge could produce? Of course it makes sense for Mr. Bush to want to drill in a pristine wildlife refuge because his biggest supporters are oil companies.
