Aleks - Yesterday there was an article in a newspaper I saw (USA Today?, but maybe LA Times?) that said that 105,000 DVD's have been sold so far, 1 million DVD disks, and most suprisingly, that 20,000 DVD's were sold in the last week of June. It is this last number that I find particularly suprising (maybe it was a typo, but if it wasn't...). In any case I have seen the 1 M DVD disks sold in several sources, so it is probably a fairly good number (barring some sort of incestuous news gathering). I know that if I owned a DVD player I would want considerably more than just one or two disks; I can listen to the same CD 10 or 20 times without being bored, but I can only watch a movie once or twice.
