So what is Religion got to do with it?

It comes in usefully when the need arises. When not needed, there is always the Holocaust, Inquisition, and other persecution stories.

The Arab Jews would yet be in the countries they lived in for centuries. Same with Iranian and African Jews.

The Isra-eli born Jews there may consider going to the country of their parents, which is probably American or European.
