thanks for posting those augie.... yes...last year i called the dump in the nasdaq for feb and march 2001....in dec 2000...... then buying in april 2001.....followed by a summer crash in august..... and the rise of gold..... folks back then thought the new bull market was coming also... after all the houses were pumping the market up in april and may using semi stocks and a better 4th quarter coming..... i warned them all......and you can see on any chart...the market started crashing in august 2001 long before sept 11...... folks don't want to hear the bad things......so i just said the heck with it....and stopped posting for a year..... now gold stocks are much higher....and the market is still well below the highs of may 2001..... now you have what is really a minor run from the sept lows....minor when looking at the big picture...... but folks because of that think this is a new bull market....but they are wrong.... the same thing is happeneing that was going on back in march 2001.....all these folks pumping a new bull....semi's getting pumped again....back in 2001...that hype proved a lie as the market tanked more..... but folks have a short memory....so what went on in 2001 is basically repeating itself..... all those high expectations are now slowly fizzling away....just like summer 2001.....just look at the bad earnings and more lowered guidance.... and with it....more folks who never learn....are going to get hurt.. so i figured i would just post again like last year....becuase i see the samething coming...eventhough i know it will just make the blind bull angry.....i know it might help a few out by letting them know the possibility of more downside is a reality....and to keep an open mind about it..... because if the worst case unfolds.......the only bulls on this thread next year....will be this years bears... this years bulls will be long gone....
