I don't think it is. There is an enormous difference between not destroying human life, and doing whatever we can to create as much of it as we can.

The life indeed begins with conception but we kill life all
the time so it is more of a question what we are killing rather than what it could be

What it normally will be not just what it could be. The potential within it is part of its nature. Also what it is now is an imature member of our species.
