I am pro-choice but one of the choices is not to do it. Rather than convincing me or Ted would not it be better to spend time convincing women? Just a though....

perhaps but exactly where do we draw the line, conception, use of contraceptives etc.

here is hypothetical case:
women was raped and because of some medical reason she would die during childbirth. If the life began at conception you can not terminate it to save another live. I do not know much but I know that that would be immoral.
Let's add complication of that the child would have medical condition that it would not live longer than few days either. You still have no moral grounds on killing that child if you consider it as a child.
And you can not tell me that when medical conditions demand it you would treat it less than when there are no medical conditions, that is immoral too
