I haven't read that book. I have read Robin Wright's Sacred Rage: the wrath of militant Islam, and I'm reading Peter Bergen's Holy War, Inc.: inside the secret world of Osama bin Laden. I'll top it off with American Jihad: the terrorists living among us. You could research these books by interviewing some of my neighbors.... Did you see the train wreck on the news tonight? Where the Metroliner collided with a freight train near Placentia, CA? I could see the wreckage from my route. It's about a mile from where the Turkey of Mystery spent the summer between the tracks. I don't know if there's a connection, but you never know. That turkey carcass may have been a voodoo curse on the trains, and this was the payoff. I screen my calls, Penni, just in case there's a cheerful voice asking me if I'm busy.
