Bush's education speech today. Kept repeating "no child left behind" over and over. Does it well. But look at the facts in Texas. 2nd worst in the US in teacher's pay (as Bush is praising teachers and saying how much we ought to honor them), bottom 5% in drop-out rates, crime, drug use. And they taught to the test to achieve their Texas "miracle". All window dressing to help Bush run for President. So mainly a facade and a way to try to co-opt a Democratic issue. Sounbds good but it's education lite at best.
