You are absolutely right.

Went back to one of my technical books. It seems that what we have here is a "Growth" pattern---a long term continuing advance-----and then an acceleration of price on the upside in the latter stages. Of course this is a "growth" pattern sandwiched into a relative few months and not years.

It doesn't look like we have an acceleration phase yet. Seems as though it is a steady climb. If we should enter a shakeout phase then we would get another buying opportunity which shakes out the weak holders.

This is only my interpretation of what I see in the chart.

There are always lots of other technical indicators----and the market's anticipation of future earnings----months or years away.
