| I hate the flourescents, I normally go for the incandescent, but did I say I compost. I appreciate the link, and I'm sympathetic to those anwr people, but that's like asking a logger if there is anything wrong with logging an old growth forest. The logger see nothing wrong with it, and I don't blame him, but there's only so much old growth kicking around, and I'm a lefty loon that would like to see those areas protected. The world is getting smaller and more cramped, why screw with Alaska, there's plenty of time in the centuries ahead to suck the oil out of Alaska, what's the rush, other than an oil lobby breathing down the President's back. You say the tundra is an empty wasteland, but it is not so, it teems with life, plays and important eco role. I'd like to see it protected. Because you are unable to see anything there only attests to your purposeful ignorance. |
