Val my grassy knoll theory is that Short sellers rule the day. People make money when the stock goes down. People made money on Enron, Global Crossing and Worldcom, as they fell. The same charts that see red trends are used by sell side as well to make money. They built their war chest on dot coms beginning two years ago this month. CCUR's buy side market makers must go to lunch at the same time. Recently the declines came in the noon hour. CCUR's perfect storm was large amounts of stock becoming available without new surprises. With CCUR giving revenue projections and pre-earnings it was supposed to level out the peaks and valleys. Now however it played into the traders hands. Traders know there will not be any new news. Insider sales which are only legal when they know nothing, combined with a couple million shares sold by SFA (unconfirmed). The storm continues until new institutions perceive that this is the place to be. Potential good news could be external. I'm looking at AOL earnings after the bell today. Indemand to announce a studio signing this week. Perhaps we will learn who the mystery MSO is. MSO's are getting killed themselves. So their marketing plan was a failure. Advertising services should have been used to delay customers from switching to DBS. They waited too long between digital roll out and VOD.
