A word to the wise... The Altair (Former symbol: ALTIF Current symbol: ALTI) stock fraud comes to an end. 5/15/1998 messages.yahoo.com And here is a response from Altair promoters. Does this sound familiar? messages.yahoo.com messages.yahoo.com The con artists at Altair first tried to convince investors that they were going to make a fortune by marketing a "centrifugal jig" (no...it's not the name of a dance...supposedly it is a better process of extracting certain ores). Then they were going to make everyone rich with their rights to a mine (also known as a hole in the ground). Finally, they reinvented themselves as a "nanotechnology" company. I have been short since 1998 and never had a single buy-in. Today the stock is quoted below $1 a share...where it remains grossly overvalued. And after spending the last few weeks covering a bit at time, Mr. Wexler walks away with another hefty six-figure sum before taxes. I'd like to take this opportunity to offer my assurances to the crooks involved in the REFR stock fraud. I know exactly what you're up to, I know that Research Frontiers is worthless.
