DNT,... Headed by two key members of the team that brought Pierina to Barrick (Joey Freeze and Fredy Huanqui,...Pierina named after Fredy's daughter, he found it),...Barrick just found another Pierina like deposit in Peru announced yesterday (buzz is 10 million oz +) and this team has a good portfolio of gold projects in Peru, one right up against Yanacocha and close to Barrick's new find. Former recently retired Barrick mainstay, Larry Kornze joined the Candente board and is in charge of finding new projects. Just got them into a gold play beside Barrick in NFLD canada with similar geology to a Nevada style Carlin deposit. Getting a following of Newsletter writers and ANALysts. Spec cycle started as they hope to drill three Peru properties and probably the Nfld one this year. They grabbed a copper property in Peru at auction about 9 months ago that drill results indicate to be a big copper porphyry with 100 million + tonnes grading .75% Cu and open in several directions with other showings on the property,..they paid US$75000 (no NSR and low strip ratio 0.5:1!!) for it because BHP/Billiton had to let it go on recent rationalization and didn't have technology to process ore. DNT believe they have the key metallurgical process to make it cheap to process. If true this property could net them 1000x what they paid for it.
