I'm sure it's difficult to remember who attended a phone conference one month when the conference really has such little significance to your career <G>.

Chuckle...

Yeah, I kept a phone log of ALL my phone conversations while at HP once I started to lead projects... First line in my log was usually who was on the other end, especially important for teleconferences.

Then again, I usually wanted a record for protection of "who said what to who on what date" If I didn't want a record of the call... like a personal call (which we had permission to make), I might not put it in the log.

The stock sure didn't like the news...
HWP down 4.7%
CPQ up 1.1%

BTW, Carly's answers on the stand remind me of many of the problems I had as a technical leader with marketing type management when they were running R&D. I'd say "it can't be done and document why." They would not like the answer, make promises they couldn't deliver and then we'd get beat up on performance reviews for delivering what we said we could deliver not what they promised. One thing I didn't like was it was better for some to climb the ladder to go along and then transfer often before they were held accountable. I think that happens everywhere but that didn't mean I had to like it.
