RIYADH, 24 April — Saudi troops are carrying out routine exercises in northwest of the Kingdom, an official Defense Ministry source said yesterday, denying press reports that Riyadh was mobilizing its forces in the region in response to the Israeli escalation. “These maneuvers are part of military activities carried out by the Saudi armed forces throughout the year in the Kingdom’s military regions,” the source told the Saudi Press Agency.
