I count about a half dozen European countries that expelled Jews, with a few more expelled from particular cities or territories. Whether taken in terms of modern nation- states, or in terms of smaller principalities, it still means that few places in Europe expelled Jews, and that most let them back in, sometimes quickly, sometimes after a long period, as, for example, France and England. I suppose I may be misremembering, of course.......
