Amid booming international sales, evidence is mounting that Amazon.com plans to launch a Canadian site this summer.

Listening to Amazon.com is truly amateur time. One would figure that after six years in the market and expansions across the world, they would have already open a Canadian subsidiary.

Ditto yesterday in the conference call. Jeffi was all proud about having introduced "injection shipping" by which you aggregate shipping to a place before you pass it on to local distributors. I cannot believe they haven't done this before. Haven't they ever heard of TNT/TST and other such injection point shippers?

God knows what will Jeffi discover next, volume discounting from your suppliers?
