I am not amazed that the HP shareholders voted for the deal. The were in an awful position. Accept a terrible deal or accept a company with no CEO and no strategy. Yuch! I am truly amazed that Carly made this mistake. It shows a reckless disregard for history. I think that the natural selection process which produces American CEOs selects for ego and ego prevents the smartest people from seeing the biggest mistakes. HPaq's competitors should benefit..?
