"Isaac is hammering conditional nails for fun. Each nail relegates us to silver screen of the movie theatre. When we unwittingly divorce ourselves from the ONE End then all the particulars lose any and all posibilities for manifesting our Father in Heaven's divine order and glory. We simply fall into the trap of assigning references to any intervening causes to claims we are making to be THE singular End/Cause/Effect that lights up and flashes on the silver screeen."

No, Frederick. YOU are hammering conditional nails with a toy hammer. Asimov was simply giving an honest response to a question about the bible: to wit, that it was a human book of myth and legend. What did you think it was?!, LOL!!

Do you think he should have embarassed himself by answering a sincere question like this: "The bible is sliced and diced and made of mice. It is a bone in an inverted ice cream cone. It slices and dices and floats on the river AND IT IS ALL HAPPENING <b<NOWN/b>!!! HOLY HANNA!!!!! NOW!!! Tra la la la la!!!! Can't you feel the LIGHT!!!! Can't you feel the CHICAGO FIRE!!!!! Tra LA la LA la LA LA!!!

Do you think Asimov answered wrongly, Frederick. Ought he just to have played the fool, and talked gibberish?
