You have made the real case for bullion and coins. In a real crunch, gold stocks are just more paper promises - and in a currency crisis brokerage accounts could be frozen just as easily as bank accounts. God forbid we should ever get to that point, but it sure looks like it is a probability not equal to zero. /Kit
