I think you're going far afield on this one, Tim. I made the statement days ago that a couple of JC's posts were homophobic, and they were, by accepted standards of the definition. The attack was made against "homosexual lifestyles" by JC.

Someone who is of the opinion that homosexual activity is immoral probably doesn't need any special word to discribe them. If you feel that they are intolerant or a prude or mean spirited you can call them those things. Some people who dislike homosexuality or think that it is immoral or disgusting probably actually do fear homosexuality or homosexuals but many of them, probably a majority do not.

There are plenty of people here, you among them, who have registered your discomfort with various parts of homosexuality. But that's a long, long way from the posts JC has made on the topic. A long way. Your statements are rakes, his statements are spades.
