Yesterday's disappointing action, and broad-based losses in European markets, are contributing to the lack of buying interest... The weakness in Europe follows on the heels of an unexpected drop-- the first in six months-- in German Business confidence...
Closer to home, U.S. indices are expected to start the session on a weak note as underlying concerns about the timing, and strength, of a rebound in corporate profits have left investors reluctant to commit new money to the market... Notable laggards in pre-market action include Tyco (TYC 22.47 -4.22), Dynegy (DYN 23.30 -5.75), McAfee.com (MCAF 14.05 -4.49) and Network Associates (NET 20.30 -3.36)
