Intel's CPUs outsourced to TSMC!

Craig Barrett talks in Taipei
By Mike Magee, 25/04/2002 09:28:50 BST

THERE'S A PUZZLING STORY on the Economic News of Taiwan this morning suggesting that Intel will continue to use TSMC to make CPUs for it, but has no plans to increase production at the major foundry player.
Which CPUs are these that it's producing, Intel?

theinquirer.net

LOL!!!

Maybe if Intel's staff wasn't so busy posting on SI, they'd be able to make some parts at their 15 megafabs that cost $14 Billion in the past 2 years....

PS - I suspect this is a typo, TSMC FABs many of Intel's CPU chipsets for them, not the CPUs themselves.
